TVSA can reveal that the 20th season of Binnelanders premieres on 1 June 2024, almost 19 years after its 2005 kykNET debut as a weekly medical drama. It became a soapie in 2006 and morphed into Binneland Sub Judice for Season 6 in 2010 with the addition of the RPK law firm. In 2011 it changed name and concept again to Binneland, when the law firm was written out while key legal characters remained. It reverted to its original name Binnelanders in 2014.

It wasn't referring to a "per episode" viewership. Apparently it referred to what happened in one particular week, which is also very confusing. It's currently still under 2-million viewers per episode. We thought the jump from March was unrealistically extreme. We've removed the previous News Short so as to avoid misinformation.
