These are the primetime adult television viewing figures for February 2023.

If you can't see the listing below, then click this link to access them in a document instead: Top Shows on TV: February 2023

Special notes

Viewers were subjected to loadshedding every day throughout February, ranging from Stage 2 to Stage 6.

As we mentioned last month, this has made it impossible to make accurate assessments and interpretations of what's happening with the viewership of shows from these Live TV viewing figures because people may have wanted to tune into a particular show but couldn't or they might have caught up by watching it via streaming or on Catch Up, which aren't included in these Broadcast Research Council numbers.

Scandal now the second most watched show in the country. Kudos to them considering how they are always killing off characters and introducing new ones. I guess it's really working for them. Shocked by the Gqeberha numbers. Even the Queen on its last days wasn't doing this badly. I guess we can also blame it on the constant load shedding and people are now forced to watch repeats and on other catch up platforms.
