Bio
Dirk Stoltz is a South African actor best known for his role as Stefan Ferreira in the Afrikaans drama series Erfsondes, from 2007-2012.
Stoltz has been working in local television, theatre and cinema since the early 1990s, starring in many local productions. He was seen on TV in Song vir Katryn, Riemvasmaak and Erfsondes, all on SABC2.
He has appeared in numerous Afrikaans-language television drama series including Arsenaal, Die Vierde Kabinet, Iemand om lief te Hê, Triptiek, Plek van die Vleisvreters and Swartwater.
In 2009 he played the starring role of Mikey, a 40-something gangster-wannabe landlord who lives with his gran, in the SABC2 sitcom Askies.
Films he has acted in include Red Dust, Superhelde, Stander, Safehouse and Prinses. Dirk is also an accomplished voice-over artist and a passionate director of especially corporate and industrial theatre and television.
He has done stand-up comedy, worked in New Zealand and is particularly proud to have worked with three Oscar winners – Hilary Swank, Denzel Washington and Tom Harper.
