Bio
J.J. Totah is an American child actor and standup comedian best known for his starring role as Michael Lovette, one of a kind among his peers who is completely sure of himself and thoughtful to boot, in the television sitcom Back in the Game.
Totah knew at a young age that he was born to entertain. As early as age 6, he was making YouTube videos and entertaining his large family at Thanksgiving dinners.
The audiences grew, though, as he went on to book regional and community theatre productions, including Beauty and the Beast and Seussical, in and around his hometown of Davis, California.
His mother remembers walking in on him when he was calling Hollywood agents and introducing himself. But after seeing Totah perform stand up (as part of "Standing Tall") at the renowned Hollywood Improv, agents started calling him.
He proved to be a natural, impressing casting directors, agents and managers with his comedic timing and delivery.
Totah recurred for two seasons on the Disney Channel's Jessie and has had other TV and short film roles, as well as appearing in national commercials.
