Max Schneider is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, actor, model and musician best known for his role as Zander Robbins, the new kid in school who is the guitarist, keyboardist and DJ for Gravity 5, on the teen sitcom How to Rock.
He also has a starring role as Ian Martinez, Beth's best friend, in the mystery thriller television drama series Crisis.
Schneider can be seen in a supporting role in the 2014 indie feature, Love and Mercy, about the life of reclusive musician Brian Wilson from the iconic 1960s surf band The Beach Boys. He plays Van Dyke Parks, best known for his lyrical contributions to the band's Smile project.
Schneider began his professional career in the Broadway musical 13 and soon booked jobs on Law & Order: SVU and One Life to Live. In 2010 he attended the Young Arts Program in Miami and specialized in musical theatre.
An accomplished singer-songwriter as well, Schneider co-starred in the Nickelodeon TV musical Rags, and has written songs for several artists.
During the summer of 2012, Max was invited to open for Victoria Justice on her Making It in America tour. The two teamed on Bruno Mars Medley, which became a YouTube hit.
In 2013 Schneider released his single Nothing Without Love, from his album of the same name, which debuted in 2014.
