Bio
Kyra Zagorsky is an American actress best known for her starring role as Dr. Julia Walker, a Senior Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and ex-wife of Dr. Alan Farragut, in the science fiction horror series Helix.
Zagorsky worked extensively in regional theatre across the U.S. until she made the transition to TV and film in 2007.
She continued to work steadily within this new medium with guest star appearances in Syfy's Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate Universe, The CW's Supernatural, ABC's Motive, FOX's Fringe, TNT's Falling Skies and the award-winning web series, Divine.
Kyra's film credits include The ABCs of Death, a 26-chapter anthology that showcases death in all its vicious wonder and brutal beauty, and the zombie horror film, Toxin 3D.
She also wrote, produced and starred in the short film Chained, which screened at the 2013 Action on Film Festival and received six award nominations including Best Female Lead Actor.
Kyra has also trained in various martial arts over the years, including kickboxing, capoeria, and Filipino stick and sword fighting.
In 2015 she had a recurring role in the fourth season of the science fiction series Continuum.
