Zubz (real name Ndabaningi Mabuye) is a Zambian-born South African hip hop artist, rapper and lyricist who rose to fame with his debut album The Last Letta, in 2003.
After graduating from varsity he won a battle at Club 206 and graced the stage alongside Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Black Thought and Jeru da Damaja at Black August.
He has gone on to pen the albums Listener's Digest (2004), HeadphoneMusic in a Parallel Universe (2006) and the 2009 release Cochlea: One Last Letta.
In 2006 he made a guest appearance as himself on the first season (Episode 11) of the SABC1 youth drama series Tshisa, along with fashion designer Ella Buta.
In 2015 he was the host of the docu-reality hip hop series Above Ground, which aired on OpenView HD's eKasi+ channel.
