Bio
Neil Jackson is an English actor best known for his role as Marcus van Sciver on the television series Blade: The Series.
Jackson came to international attention when he landed the role of Perdiccas, Alexander's commander in Oliver Stone's blockbuster feature Alexander.
Since then he has starred in indie vampire thriller The Thirst, with Adam Baldwin and Jeremy Sisto.
Formerly an amateur boxing champion, Jackson competed both for his college and for Wales, ultimately winning the British Universities championship twice.
Upon landing a sponsorship to study sports at the Masters level, Jackson completed his MSc and moved to London in 2000, to pursue acting.
After enrolling in a part-time two-year course at the Armstrong Acting Academy, Jackson launched his acting career by appearing in a number of popular British series, including Heartbeat and The Last Detective.
Jackson also appeared in the controversial lesbian teen mini-series Sugar Rush, for Channel 4 in the UK. He has also appeared in sci-fi series Stargate SG-1.
Jackson currently makes his home in Los Angeles.
