Boo & TT is a South African television comedy series produced by Stepping Stone Pictures which borrows from the age-old clichés found in the cop and private detective shows of the 70s, revolving around two incompetent private investigators who bumble their way through a variety of odd and challenging cases.
This story centres round three characters: Boomba the fat man; TT the lean, mean serious partner and Mapule, the sexy receptionist with the big afro.
The two private investigators (Boomba and TT) are loosely based on the Budd Spencer and Terence Hill combination in their films of the 70s.
This show borrows from the age-old clichés found in the cop and private detective shows of the 70's. Think Men In Black meets Shaft, with the coolness of Terrence Hill and sometimes the clumsiness of Budd Spencer.
Boo & TT is produced by Stepping Stone Pictures, with executive producers Rapulana Seiphemo and Kenneth Nkosi. It was written by Sechaba Morojele and directed by Mvuzo Mthimkhulu. The series was shot on location in Banewang Phaleng.
