Season 1 Synopsis
This ensemble comedy features a group of friends in their early 30s and comically proves that pregnancy doesn't just change your life, but the lives of all your friends.
When Andrew (Peter Cambor) and Lauren (Jennifer Westfeldt) decide to start a family, Andrew eagerly awaits each stage of the pregnancy while Lauren is reluctant to give up their carefree, pre-baby lifestyle.
Luckily, they take this leap into parenthood with a little help from their friends - who have varying opinions and advice on starting a family.
Julie (Melanie Paxson) and Eric (Sunkrish Bala) are the overly enthusiastic parents that Andrew and Lauren dearly love but never want to become.
Lauren's best friend, Cooper (Rachael Harris), is a sexy, relationship-avoidant divorce attorney who won't let Lauren become another member of the mommy cult.
And Andrew's slacker, childhood buddy, Danny (Michael Weaver), is the furthest from settling down.
Can Andrew and Lauren juggle the freedom and spontaneity of their old life with the responsibility of their new one?
