Synopsis
Life couldn't be better for Mark Cooper (Mark Curry). He's charming, funny, playful and athletic - a really great guy. And he'll be the first to tell you so.
Just out of school and on his own for the first time, Mark shares a house with two beautiful women, his best friend Robin (Dawnn Lewis) and her gorgeous roommate Vanessa (Holly Robinson Peete).
The former college basketball superstar and ultimate prankster also happens to be the coolest substitute teacher around in the comedy Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.
Mark's household is anything but dull. His life-long buddy Robin is a talented pianist and singer who teaches music at their old junior high school. Sensible and patient, Robin often plays peacemaker between Mark and Vanessa.
An ambitious knockout, Vanessa is subjected to Mark's irritating comments about everything from her body-conscious wardrobe to her choice of men.
The series stars Mark Curry, Dawnn Lewis (Season 1 only), Holly Robinson Peete, Raven-Symoné, Saundra Quarterman, Nell Carter and Marquise Wilson.
The Executive Producer was Jeff Franklin, who also created the series, which was a Jeff Franklin Production in association with Lorimar Television.
