SABC3's teen reality show Vibe'z has been re-commissioned for a second season according to Touchdown Africa, the production company that makes the show.
On Vibe'z, Phindi Mdluli - the 16-year-old presenter of the show - surprises teenagers, take them out to experience the high-life in V.I.P-style, making their wildest dreams come true.
The first season of Vibe'z was one of SABC3’s most successful teenage programmes of 2006. The show connected young aspiring hip-hop artists with Skwatta Kamp and HHP and organised a wannabe TV director to work alongside a director of the hit drama series, The Lab.
The show also made a young dancer’s dreams a reality together with Lorcia Cooper, got a hopeful young actress a part in the hospital drama Hillside, and set up a gig for a young DJ with Flash Republic, amongst others.
In the second season Phindi and her crew will once again choose young aspiring musicians, actors, artists, sports stars and models, and set them up with the right people to make their dreams become reality.
Broadcast of Vibe'z will start in December 2007, but production on the series has begun already.
