Life's disconcerting Know -How

I have always listened to people complaining about racial discrimination and load shedding, but have neva materialised on me till last Sunday (bigotry not the shedding).

On a lonely Sunday aftanun, my fwend and I went out. I then dropped her of @ her complex. On my way out I came across 2 white blokes tetchy on the drive way ova god knows what.

A ka va naka, just drove off, then suddenly I heard a bang on my rear windscreen and a voice screaming out loud “*bleep!* you, you bloody Kaffir”.

Sh*t did he just call me a kaffir, damn he has no conduct!!! Let me pull off and teach him how we do it ko Mzansi (what eva!!)….
So I got off, then asked why the energy burst?
Out of the blue, 2 white sl*ts came on my face and started swearing and again the "K" word, telling me how blacks drive beta cars coz of Mbheki being the president.
While still stunned at that, there came a dog that was said to be allergic to blacks. I moored the dog, and before I could make any move I was moored.

I was so furious and scared at the same time coz I wouldn’t fight 4 people at the same tym let alone one. Dare!! I have neva bin on a fight before….

There goes me, rushing to the police station to open a case. Police officers were very sarcastic. My fellow black brothers refused to open a case stating It was just a trivial bullying. They told me that a case can only be opened if there was any damage to the car..

It was so ludicrous, the fact that the very same peace officers we are to run to in tyms of trauma like this took my case as a trivial, DAMN thiz guyz are playing. Are they trying to tell me that It’s ok for a white man to call a black person a Kaffir?
Within a short space of time I consulted my lawyer, and *bleep!* the charges I had to pay for consulting ova the weekend was fanatical., but shucks I couldn’t let them off the hock as trouble free as that…

Finally somebody decided to do his job @ 12:00 mid nyt. They went to apprehend the white guy at his place now that my lawyer recommended a case of malicious damage to property ( windscrin) against the bloke.
On arrival the lady who was also drawn in the fight rebuffed to open the gate and said the guy run away (she was bitching)… Every arrest procedure was explained to them en they still refused to open.. The PO called for back up, en three PO vans came, with a whole lot of them (PO’s, yeh it was like a movie). They forcefully opened the gate en arrested the lady for hidin the suspect, the guy then came out from underneath the couch (rili), and pleaded with the PO not to arrest the lady but him. Guess what they were both apprehended….
To make matters shoddier for them, the next morning ( Monday) another lady opened a case against them for malicious damage to property (awesome), en to my surprise it was a white lady who stays at the very same complex as them… She had to identify them @ the holding cells (now!! who was cleva @ da end?)SO Ja!!! Some tym around Feb we are heading to court…

Moral of the story:
Neva muddle with abo darki……

I tried reading but could not finish reading.

It has nothing to do with the content of the blog, what i find challenging to my eyes is the font, the colours and the occasional crossed out words.

some sentenses are brightly coloured and made very very minute. i found reading this very strenuous to my eyes, honestly, i dont mean to be funny.

bravo for standing up for yourself...sometimes thina bo-darkie we are such pushovers, and we just tolerate most nonsense either racism or sexism or rudeness...and sometimes we end up taking it out on own loved ones later,...e.g we wont complain about long ques and slow cashiers, or rude waitresses, but other races will sanp their fingers and compalin, same thing with such verbal attacks and racist peeps getting physical....we ussually take the story home NOT the legal route......

so GOOD for you I hope they learn something about the "emerging" spirit of muntus,...LOL

some other one even asked how did i buy my car....of coz with money!how did you buy yoz?..but i also realizzed that blacks are more rasist than whites!

30 Jan 2008 00:57

Sorry to hear of your experience.

Once you realise how mean some other people are,you end up losing all hope on humanity.

And Steve Biko once said that blacks by nature are NOT racist,we merely reflect it back to the source.

And he was right. If we were racist we would have gone off the rail and revenged for all those years of subhuman existence...

faraimagic
30 Jan 2008 04:32

@mamabox..the place is near GEORGE its about 35-40 minutes to george and its called MOSSEL BAY?MOSSEL BAAI....yho thats wat i told my frends this year im taking a bus full of black peeps........and we are going for a holiday...its like black people there dont exist....they said people only come there on holidays...so around this time you will find only securities(not blacks)...guarding the place......this other day i remember they told me that i wasn't allowed to do my exihibution there..emagine i had to call there bosses to confirm everything there....but i learned a lesson.....dont show them that you are scared of them...have you every heard of a meal called a kaffir meal?this white dude was also having an exhibution, selling his quad bikes, so we went to ask. the price and the ages required..his answer was...as young as 4....we were all puzzled then he adds"!jah mineer!it all depends how you raise your kids!"he says that he taught his kids to ride, drive and to control a tractor wen they were only 4...."i taught my kid how to ride a tractor wen he was only 4...and blacks were putting and picking kaffir meal.puting it in the trailer of the tractor my kid was driving!

Tynt, so sorry about what happened to you, just thank God that you are o.k. could have been worse, because you were at these people’s mercy. Someone could’ve suggested that they kill you so that there is no evidence. Yes racism is very real in South Africa. You are very brave I must say, are you male or female? In situations like these, I DO not leave my car. I am female. I call 112 and wait. I take down plates look at the people etc.
As for the police, there are still some corrupt ones out there, but I feel that their days are numbered. Did you open just one case against them? There should be discrimination and assault as well.
@Feza – formatting text is used to emphasize things and put less emphasis on certain things. My opinion of this article is that it’s great. I like Tynt’s play of words. Reading this text almost made me feel what Tynt was feeling when he went through this. I can relate to the story.
An example is the fact that the small text refers to stuff that is less important, that is you’re by the way stuff.
That’s the English lesson for today, for 2moro please prepare...A, B, C...

@ Farai.....i know when i die i will go to haven....MOSSELBAY IS HELL!and i was there!

there are black ppl living there, why didnt they mention that bahlala kabuhlungu? They shuld report this, its not rite!!!

U know, here in Cape town, I dont know about other cities. Xa ungena e Shop, kuvele kuthiwe " how may i help u", & they ask u with that fake smile!!! I hate that smile.  Bt they never ask a white person, & u know why,  because they think ur going 2 steal something, especialy @ Waterfront & the other malls that are in the white areas.

Tynt!
30 Jan 2008 05:49

It's good you had them arrested, they had no right to call u by the K word, don't let them off the hook, surely they'll get a fine or a few months in jail. have been a victim of racism but i won't let them put me down, i retariate and call them hood rats or heiffers or trailer trash and remind them that Pik Botha is DEAD! they must just get over it or leave the country
