Episode 139
Gregory and Olivia return home to find Sean and Tiffany, wearing Olivia's jewellery and robes, all over one another. He angrily tells Sean that Tiffany is s using him and that he agreed to let Tiffany stay until Sean was better, but Caitlin reminds her father of their promise. Gregory still wants her out, but Sean threatens to leave with her and Olivia exclaims she can't bear to lose another child.
Gabi goes to the loft to pack Paula's things but receives a cold reception from Ricardo who doesn't believe it was Eddie's fault. He storms out telling Gabi now that Paula is out of his life they've got nothing in common, but Gabi vows there'll be something between them and how it'll break her sister's heart.

Episode 140
A rescue team arrives at the scene of the cave-in and when Ricardo and Paula arrive, he suggests calling in Michael as he's head of Search & Rescue. Ben promises Meg they're not going to die, but she finds it difficult to believe he hasn't set her up. She asks for the truth about Maria, but he's more interested in trying to get them out and begins tapping against a rock.
Outside, Annie hears the tapping and Michael signals that they're in the process of being rescued and an oxygen line is being sent to them. Ben and Meg celebrate but their vibrations create a small fall of debris.
Vanessa visits Virginia's old neighbourhood and talks to her neighbour, Mrs Jones, who turns out to be the security officer for the building and that Virginia's break-ins never happened.

Episode 141
Michael and Eddie locate a stream under the cave which provides them with a possible access tunnel to Ben and Meg. Inside the cave, Meg uses Ben's amnesia to get some answers but Ben denies trapping "Maria" in there. He wonders if there's something wrong with her.
Sean thanks Caitlin for defending Tiffany and asks to borrow some money, but upon looking in her purse he finds anti-natal tablets and asks whether his sister is pregnant. She admits she is but that no one, not even Cole, knows yet, and she's not sure how he'll react. Sean promises not to say anything but when talking to Cole he asks him to let Caitlin know just how much he loves her, and Caitlin thinks he's told Cole about the pregnancy.
Jimmy goes to SBPD with the intention of turning Michael in, but whilst there he sees Michael's heroic side -, preparing to go in and rescue Ben and Meg.

Episode 142
Cole almost overhears Caitlin talking about the baby, but Sean manages to cover. Olivia interrupts and Cole leaves, so Caitlin diverts the subject to persuading her mum to tell Gregory about the baby, which raises Olivia's suspicion of Caitlin's motives.
Michael finds a cave with unsteady walls and warns of further collapse. Meg starts to panic as Ben realises their air supply has been cut, but he reassures her that nothing's going to happen to them. He recounts a story from his childhood about being trapped in a sewer with his brother, Ted.
Annie asks Elaine about the speakeasy, thinking that an old roadrunner's tunnel might lead to the cave. Bette asks Olivia if she's spoken to Gregory about the job and suggests that news of her pregnancy could slip out if her money problem isn't resolved.

Episode 143
Ben and Meg kiss passionately and slowly begin to undress. They start to make love and Ben tells Meg how much he loves her; then calls her Maria! Caitlin's ready to tell her father about the baby, but Cole interrupts and diverts the good news to the fact that he's moved into the Waffle Shop. Gregory is less than amused.
Later, Caitlin asks why they can't tell her father, and Cole isn't convinced Gregory will be as excited as they are. Olivia mulls over the fact that they may both be carrying Cole's baby. Gregory later congratulates Cole and he wonders whether he knows, but Gregory's referring to the room though implying something more.
Annie and Tim find the entrance to the speakeasy through The Deep's wine cellar, but they come to a dead end and Annie breaks down. Meg pushes Ben off, demanding he tells her who she is and he replies that she's Maria. A horrified Meg realises Ben thinks he just made love to his dead wife.

Episode 144
Cole assures Olivia she'll be nothing more than the mother of his lover, but she reminds him of their affair and that she'll stop at nothing to protect Caitlin from him. He assures her their affair didn't mean anything and that it's over, but Olivia wishes it was that easy. She asks Cole to leave Caitlin to prevent the truth ever coming out, but before he can reply Caitlin interrupts.
The foreman from the resort construction visits Gregory about the cave-in, but Gregory tells him he has nothing to do with it and the blame is entirely with Ben. Ben dreams about the night Maria "died": the stormy night; the studio; and Maria drowning. He awakes struggling for breath. He mutters that he tried to save Maria, but is relieved when he sees "Maria" and says he didn't kill her after all.

Episode 145
Meg sees Annie peering in at them and, realising they've been rescued, starts dressing Ben, but he can only see her. As Tim and Annie enter the cave, he rushes to hug Meg, confusing Ben then Meg and Annie argue as his condition worsens.
Back in Sunset Beach, Casey offers to find Michael and revives him enough to get him off to the Medical Centre where Jimmy worries about losing him. Gregory almost overhears Bette and Olivia discussing her affair. He tells Bette he knows she's got something over his wife, and, after threatening to be thrown out, slips up about a baby.
Jimmy apologies to Michael, and Virginia gloats about Jimmy's reconciliation being just the beginning.

Episode 146
Annie tells Tim she saw Meg and Ben making love, but Tim refuses to believe it. Ben admits he feels their connection, and Meg asks again what he remembers. He tells her that he loves her with all his heart, whereas Meg realises Ben doesn't remember they made love.
Olivia tells Gregory of her involvement in kidnapping Elaine's baby, and, buying it, Gregory offers Bette the job of gossip columnist at the Sentinel. Later he asks Olivia why she never told him about Bette's involvement, but she wriggles out of answering and he asks when the lies are going to end and what other secrets she has with Bette.
Mark asks Meg what she was doing in the cave and whether Ben mentioned Maria, but Meg is evasive. Tim tells Ben he's hurt Meg more than he ever did, and that he'll kill him if he hurts her. Caitlin asks Cole if he's sure he wants to go through with having a baby, which he assures her he does.

Episode 147
Olivia warns Cole that hell will freeze over before she lets Caitlin marry him. He calls her bluff and suggests she wants him all to herself. Angered by the idea, she blurts that she wants Cole to stay away from her and her baby - Gregory overhears.
Back-pedalling, Olivia explains that by 'her baby' she means Caitlin who she'll always see as her little girl. Tim warns Caitlin not to trust Cole, but she assures him they have no secrets. Tim puts doubts in her mind by telling her she needs to find out who the other woman is and just what other secrets they have.

Episode 148
Tim writes a goodbye note to Meg as Ben plans a romantic evening now that he's back from the hospital. When Tim drops the letter off at Surf Central, he finds Meg in tears. She tells him it's a delayed reaction from being trapped in the cave. She also blurts that she wants to be as far away from Ben as possible. Annie tells Bette she's given up on Ben, but Bette doesn't believe her.
She advises Annie to fight for him, but Annie tells her she hasn't the energy anymore. Realising things aren't quite right, Tim picks up the goodbye note. Ben rings Meg but she doesn't answer.
After leaving Meg's, Tim calls Annie to tell her things aren't rosy between Meg and Ben. Bette drops a bottle of wine over to Ben's and sees all the effort he's gone to for Meg. She returns to Annie's and warns her about Ben's surprise, but Annie is determined to go all out.

Episode 149
Caitlin wonders if marrying Cole is the right thing, whereas Cole thinks Olivia has told her about their affair. He warns Olivia he'll fight for Caitlin if he has to. Caitlin advises her father to tell her mother he loves her. They both find Cole in Olivia's room and Gregory demands to know what's going on. Olivia tells him they were talking about Caitlin.
Alone with Olivia, Gregory congratulates her on sowing the seeds of doubt in Caitlin's relationship. They start to get amorous, and, concerned she might be showing, Olivia asks for the lights off. He insists they stay on. In the throes of passion, Olivia knocks over some pamphlets, but in trying to pick them up;
Gregory catches sight of them and demands to know if she's pregnant. Meg is surprised by Ben's efforts but tells him he should be concentrating on getting better.

Episode 150
Meg denies Ben doesn't remember making love to her, so Annie says she must have been terrible for him to have blocked her out. Meg puts his confusion down to concussion. Tim barges in to Ben's looking for Meg and, seeing she's not there, tells Ben she's finally realised the truth. He pins Tim against the wall, demanding to know what he's said to her.
Annie tells Meg she's through with Ben and gloats again, but Meg starts to wonder if Annie was the one who trapped her in the cave. Ben starts to come to the same conclusion about Tim.

Episode 151
Gregory promises Olivia he won't let on about Caitlin being pregnant and ponders how to get her out of it. He discovers Caitlin turned Cole's proposal down, and that finding out why could help him get rid of Cole.
Bette reluctantly agrees to take Olivia for her test, but she runs into Cole and Caitlin at the Medical Centre with each wondering what the other is doing there. Caitlin tells her she's there for her annual check-up, whilst Bette confesses she's there to see Tyus for the same reason.
Elaine confides in Gregory that she's not sure Cole and Caitlin's future is certain. He later asks Tim to think hard about what Caitlin told him about Cole, and offers him 10,000 shares in the new Liberty Corporation project worth $15,000. Tim tells Gregory that Cole had an affair with a woman in Sunset Beach.

Episode 152
As Cole ponders how she knew about the ultrasound, Nurse Krakowski interrupts leaving Olivia to wonder how to get a tape of the ultrasound. Gregory asks Tim for more facts about the woman Cole slept with and becomes more frustrated when Tim doesn't deliver. He tells Tim that dredging up Cole's past would just hurt Caitlin more.
Annie pops over to Surf Central to borrow a cup of sugar, but Mark doesn't buy the act. She tells him Meg's in trouble. Meg dreams about Ben scattering his home with candles and flowers. But then he wonders who she is and where Maria is.
She awakes to a bedroom filled with white roses - from Ben. Vanessa tells Michael about her bogus lead and that she has the day off, but Virginia butts in - he's helping Jimmy with homework.

Episode 153
Annie finds Ben's insurance policy, calls the hospital, pretending to be an insurance officer, and asks for an exact diagnosis of Ben's condition - temporary amnesia and delusions. Meg invites Ben into her bedroom thanking him for the flowers.
He says he's been feeling a distance between them, but she puts it down to stress. Ben assures her he'd never hurt her, yet Meg can't help but remember the cave. He asks what's holding her back and whether Maria is the problem or if she's still having doubts he loves her and tries to assure her Maria's memory is behind him and he's ready to move into the future with her, but Meg's still not convinced.
Michael berates Vanessa for snooping, putting it down to jealousy. She says her gut instinct made her do it and Virginia's been lying. She tells him about the photograph and the connection with JoJo and the phoney break-ins.

Episode 154
Olivia asks Gregory why he doesn't want Caitlin to know he knows she's pregnant. He tells her it's all part of a plan and then asks why finding the woman isn't a good idea, but Olivia only says that it just isn't. Curious about whom he's going to see, Olivia attempts to blackmail him saying she'll keep both Sean and Caitlin quiet, but only if he tells her.
Annie points out that Meg's flowers are also Maria's favourite, and after trying to dig deeper into what happened in the cave, Meg throws her out. Gregory offers his blessing to Cole - allowing him to come and go as he pleases. Then he offers to buy them a condo once the resort is completed. Caitlin tries to tell him about her baby, but Gregory's anxious to leave.
Meg dreams about Ben helping her get ready and telling her he remembers what happened in the cave; that she's the one he wants and he wants to prove it.

Episode 155
Gregory tells Olivia he loves the idea of her being pregnant and explains how her pregnancy will figure into the plan. She soon realises he still doesn't know when he asks her to get a fake pillow in order to pretend she's pregnant. He tells her her pregnancy will take a difficult turn and she'll be sent to San Francisco with Caitlin who will go with her because she'll know about the woman Cole slept with.
Gregory tells Olivia he expects Caitlin to give her baby to them, but she can't understand why she'd agree to it. He tells her they'll be upset over their loss and Olivia asks not to be put through this, but Gregory tells her Caitlin must come first - not because she's more important than Olivia, but because she's weaker and needs protecting.
Ricardo confronts Ben in the studio and accuses him of packing up Maria's memory. He demands to know what happened the night she died.
