Last week Wednesday (17 September) Disney hosted the South African premiere of the new musical movie Camp Rock at The Zone in Rosebank, Jozi.
The movie premieres on the
Disney Channel on Friday, 3 October at 19h00 and stars teen-pop musos the Jonas Brothers (Joe, Kevin & Nick), Demi Lovato (of Disney's As the Bell Rings) and Alyson Stoner (of Phineas and Ferb).
Set at Camp Rock - a camp for aspiring young musicians - the movie follows the story of talented but unsure teenager Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) and hot-headed young popstar Shane Gray (Joe Jonas) - who's lost his passion for music and needs to find it again.
The pair meet up at Camp Rock and together learn to believe in themselves and to value the freedom to be who they really want to be - to the backing of a rock soundtrack.
