Elle, HRG and Bob

Bob criticises Elle for the way the situation with Claire has turned out, telling her that she has performed well below what she can do and that she's benched. Elle tries to apologise, but Bob won't accept it, commenting that he's put a lot of hard work into raising her.

Somehow HRG has obtained a ball, and he bounces it against the wall of his cell, just like in the Great Escape, and probably a bunch of other movies. Elle watches him for a while, before asking HRG what her father did to her.

HRG tells her that there's not a lot of incentive for him to share anything with her. Elle generates a spark of electricity on her hand and says she could make HRG tell her, to which her responds that she could try.

Eventually Elle gives in and says “Please”. So it seems that's still the magic word even in the world of Heroes.

HRG tells Elle that they wanted to see how much wattage she could produce, and that during testing she's pass out from the strain. Everyone else wanted to call it a day at that point, but Bob would say that his little girl is tougher than that.

Bob shows up at that point and asks Elle what she's doing. She tells him that she's doing nothing and then leaves.

Bob informs HRG that they have a problem relating to Claire who is becoming “difficult”. Bob ask HRG if Claire could have any hard evidence which would leave the Company exposed. HRG doesn't say anything, but smiles and Bob says that it means that they're going to have to take measures to keep Claire quiet.

Claire

Claire sorts through the records that HRG had left of everything he had done of the Company. Sandra tries to persuade Claire not to go through with it without success.

Sandra's not the only one trying to stop Claire, and West makes an attempt too. He tells her that he likes his secrets and wants to keep it that way. Claire hands him his file and says he no longer needs to worry about “us”.

West leaves through the back door and flies away, while Mr Muggles starts barking at the front door. This is just another indication that Mr Muggles is the true mastermind on this show, as standing at the front door is HRG.

HRG has a hard time convincing his family that it wasn't his decision to play dead. He tells Claire that she needs to stop with her plan to expose the Company, because if she pushes them then they will “react”.

HRG says that he's made a deal with the Company. If he returns to work for them, they will leave his family alone and let them live normal lives. After giving them this news, he goes outside, where he tells Bob that it's done.

Mohinder, Sylar and Maya

Mohinder returns to his apartment to find Sylar there. Sylar introduces Mohinder to Maya, who says that it's an honour to meet him.

Mohinder asks if Maya knows that Sylar is a killer, and she says that he told her he was, but she is one too. Sylar then asks Mohinder about the Shanti virus, which he had read about on Mohinder's laptop, and Mohinder realises that Sylar's powers are gone.

Mohinder picks up a table knife and tries to attack Sylar with it, but he pulls out a gun and points it at Mohinder. Maya is confused at what's going on, and Sylar tells her to remain calm.

He that he understands that Mohinder's blood will cure the virus. Mohinder tells him that's not always the case, and it depends on the strain of the virus, but Sylar says that he knows about Claire's blood and the effect it has.

Maya realises that Sylar has been lying to her, and she gets upset, which triggering her power. It not only affects Mohinder and Sylar, but Molly as well.

Sylar manages to convince Maya that she doesn't want to hurt and innocent girl, and Maya is able to bring her power under control. Mohinder says that he'll help Sylar, but not at his apartment.

Mohinder takes them to his lab, which is unlocked by means of a keypad. After everyone has entered, we can see that a red light is blinking on it, so presumably Mohinder entered a code which triggered a security alert.

Mohinder and Sylar go to Mohinder's workstation, where Mohinder prepares to take some of Sylar's blood. As he sticks the needle into Sylar's arm, Mohinder looks up and the blinking red light of a camera hidden in an air vent.

After leaving HRG's cell, Elle sneaks into Bob's office to take a look at her file. She discovers that it's empty, and so logs into Bob's computer, which has one of those poor security systems that only exist on TV where you can see the actual password as you type it.

Elle looks at some security camera feeds and notices that the one from Mohinder's lab has the words “Security Alert” flashing next to it. That's not a very good alert if someone has to go looking to find it. She sees Sylar on the screen and decides to go after him, hoping to impress Bob.

Maya and Molly sit together in a corner of the lab, and Maya mentions Alejandro, saying that she sent him away, but she now wishes he was there. Molly offers to try and find him for her, and Maya gives Molly a photo of the two of them. Molly concentrates, but tells Maya that Alejandro isn't anywhere, and Maya realises what this means.

Meanwhile, Mohinder has discovered that Sylar has the same strain of the virus as Niki, meaning that someone from the Company injected him. Maya comes up to Sylar and accuses him of killing her brother. He responds by shooting her.

Sylar tells Mohinder to use Claire's blood on Maya to prove that it works, and then to inject him with it, which Mohinder does. After seeing that Claire's blood has the desired effect, Sylar takes the syringes of blood and prepares to leave.

Elle has arrived by this time, and she tries to stop Sylar from leaving, but he is able to get away. Elle is annoyed that Sylar got away, thinking that Bob will be angry, but Mohinder tells her that she saved their lives and is a hero, which Elle is quite pleased about.

Micah, Niki and Monica

Micah returns home and tells Niki about Monica being captured and that they need to find her. Niki tells him that she doesn't have her strength any more, but Micah says that all he needs her to do is drive.

Monica is tied up in the basement of a building, while the gang member pours petrol around the room. Meanwhile, Micah is tracking Monica's cellphone via his. He explains to Niki that he basically told her phone to find Monica's phone.

As they approach a traffic light, Micah tells Niki not to slow down as the light will change. It does change, and Niki asks Micah if he told it to change as well.

Niki and Micah arrive outside the building as the gang member sets it alight, leaving Monica alone in the burning basement. Micah spots the gang member about to drive away in the van which he saw Monica being put into to, but Niki is able to block the van with her car.

Niki is able to knock the gang member out, showing that she's a force to be reckoned with even without her strength, and she heads into the burning building to look for Monica. Niki finds Monica and frees her, and the two of them try to leave.

They're not able to do so, as a burning beam falls and blocks their path. Niki is able to lift the beam up, and Monica crawls underneath it, even though it looked like there was enough room for her to have got past in the first place. Monica makes it out safely, but then the building explodes, and we'll have to wait until next season to see whether Niki survived or not.

Nathan, Matt, Peter, Adam and Hiro

Nathan and Matt talk to Angela, who has been released from jail. They tell her that she didn't kill anyone, but Adam did, and now Victoria Pratt is dead.

Matt asks where Adam will be going next, but Angela says nothing. Nathan asks her how long they're going to suffer for her generation's deeds, and Angela replies that Adam just wanted revenge on those who betrayed him and that it's over and Nathan should let it go.

Nathan tells her that Peter's alive, and Matt adds that he's working with Adam as his fingerprints were found at the murder scene. Angela gives in and says that thirty years earlier she believed in Adam, as did Nathan's father and Linderman.

But then Adam decided that the world wasn't worth fixing and needed to be wiped clean with an unstoppable virus. She tells them that the virus is in Odessa, but only someone with Peter's abilities could get to it, which is why Adam chose him.

As they leave, Angela tells them that the only way to stop Adam is to put a bullet through his end. She also tells Matt telepathically, that if he can't stop Peter then he'll have to put a bullet through his head as well.

We then go to a repeat of the closing scene of the previous episode, which ended with Hiro charging at Peter. Peter shoots a bolt of electricity at Hiro, but he teleports away.

Hiro reappears and tries to convince Peter that Adam is not to be trusted, while Peter tries to tell Hiro that they're trying to stop the world from being destroyed. They end up with Hiro's sword at Peter's throat, and Peter grabs the sword and sends a bolt of electricity through it, rendering Hiro unconscious.

Time unfreezes, and Adam notices Hiro's body. Peter tells him what happened, and the two of them leave to look for the virus, but not before Adam take's Hiro's sword, saying that he believes it is his.

Adam and Peter make their way down to the vault where the virus is, taking out a lot of guards on the way. When they reach the vault, Adam says that Peter will have to open it.

When Peter says that he's not sure if his powers will be able to handle it, Adam reminds him that the fate of the world rests in his hands. Peter asks Adam if he killed Kaito, and Adam confirms it, explaining that Kaito wouldn't have kept the virus locked up if he didn't plan on using it.

Peter finally gets a clue and asks Adam why he should trust him. Adam response is to remind Peter about Caitlin being trapped in the future. Why Peter doesn't try to read Adam's mind I don't know, but his poor use of his powers continues when he starts to use his telekinesis to try to open the door rather than just simply walking through it.

Matt and Nathan make an uncomfortable landing at Primatech Paper. It can't have been a very pleasant flight, as the two of them agree to never talk about it again.

Matt asks Nathan how dangerous Peter is, and Nathan replies that he trusts Peter with his life. Matt then informs Nathan that Angela told him to kill Peter if necessary, and Nathan's response is that listening to his mother has never led to anything good. At that point, Hiro appears and greets Nathan with a cry of, “Flying Man”.

Peter manages to get the vault door open, but before Adam can enter, Hiro appears and blocks his way. Peter uses his telekinesis to send Hiro flying across the room, and as Adam enters the vault, he tells Peter that Hiro will keep at it unless he does something about it.

Peter begins to choke Hiro, but Matt arrives at the vault and is able to command Peter to let Hiro go. He tries to tell Peter to go after Adam, but Peter resists that command.

It's Matt's turn to be telekinetically shoved away, and Peter tells him that he's on the wrong side. Nathan chooses that moment to make a dramatic entrance, asking Peter if he thinks that he's on the wrong side too.

By this time, Hiro has recovered, and he teleports into the vault, where Adam has found the phial containing the virus. Meanwhile, Nathan tells Peter that he's seen Adam's file and he knows that Adam wants to release the virus. Peter tells him that Adam gave his blood to heal Nathan's burns.

Adam tells Hiro that in four hundred years nothing has changed, and that God had the right idea when he made it rain for forty days and forty nights, wiping everything clean. Someone's definitely got delusions of grandeur here.

Hiro points out that Adam isn't God, and that he should have killed him four hundred years earlier, and should probably kill him now, for his father. Hiro reaches out and touches Adam's shoulder, and teleports the two of them away, but not before Adam has dropped the virus.

Luckily, Nathan has managed to convince Peter by bringing up their familial bond. The two of them get to the vault in time for Peter to telekinetically catch the virus.

He uses his radiation ability to turn the phial into dust, which doesn't seem scientifically plausible to me, although admittedly I don't know enough about radiation to know whether it is or not. Peter lets the dust fall from his hand, and it makes the symbol as it does so.

Matt asks how much longer they are going to have to clean up the mess made by their parents. Nathan agrees with him and says it's time for the manipulation to end.

He suggests that they take it public and decides to hold a press conference, enlisting Matt's help to make sure that everyone listens to him. However, a hidden camera is watching the three of them, so it's pretty obvious that things aren't going to work out as planned.

Hiro returns to Yamagoto industries where he tells Ando that he went to face his father's killer. Ando asks if Hiro killed him, and Hiro replies that he can never hurt anyone again. The scene then changes to a shot of Adam yelling to be let out of a coffin which is buried in the same cemetery as Hiro's father.

At the press conference, Nathan launches into his speech, but as he's about to reveal that he can fly, he is shot by someone in the crowd, which proves that being long-winded can be hazardous to your health. In the confusion, we see someone walk away, who is presumably the shooter. However, we only get to see them from behind, so the only thing it's really possible to tell is that
they're male.

Angela watches a news report about the shooting while she speaks to someone on the phone. She says that it was unavoidable, but that “Pandora's Box” has now been opened.

Sylar

Sylar sits in an alley and injects himself with Claire's blood. After his visible wounds have healed, he tries to uses his telekinesis to move an empty tin can. The can flies through the air, into his outstretched hand, and Sylar announces that he's back.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yho, Cit, there's so much to quote that made me laugh but the frustrationat how short this season seemed is made up for by your recap.

Killer, killer, killer:

but as he's about to reveal that he can fly, he is shot by someone in the crowd, which proves that being long-winded can be hazardous to your health.

Nice recap!!! I was so annoyed when it ended!

That was nice of Hiro to "bury" Adam. He was becoming a total nuisance. Well, I guess that's what happens when you've been alive for the last 400 years.

>>please tell me when is heroes coming back at SABC 3 and at what time.<<

Unfortunately, nobody knows.

>>ohh almost fogort will sylar be still alive<<

He should be.  He was alive at the end of this episode.

>> and what about peter is he dead or what .<<

Nathan was the one who got shot - do you mean him?  The answer to that question is that we don't know.

>>And if sylar is dead will all the heroes come back to life.<<

Why would people come back to life if Sylar were dead?  It's not as though he killed people in a weird way - everyone he killed was killed in a way that could have been achieved without a power (in most cases cutting the top of their head off).

>> And what does molly means that the is a monster and if molly tracks this monster it will find her.<<

Molly was referring to Matt's father, Maury, who could "see" her if she tried to look for him.
