This is one of those things where you know what's right but somewhere your mind is misleading you.For two years I was one of those girls who dated guys for what they had I had to see your house first to tell if you are dating material.

I used to go to these fabolous places i didn't even have to spend money on entertainment & transport.Things would just happen nje but I wasn't happy these were people I would see ka weekend during the week they didn't have time for me or I just wasn't feeling them.

I would get guys that would go on about their money how boring cars houses but I wasn't happy and the other thing am a emotional sexual being like I have to feel you emotionally to be sexual with you.

So then I meet this guy my age no car or house.I was living a dream right until I found out he was cheating and I started treating him like sh*t then he broke up with me saying he will always be at my mercy.

So what am asking is should you rather choose money or love.

money = saving your own money and no emotional attacthement.

love=love love love spending some of your money and in the end heartache.

Oh this is my first article and by no means am I a writer don't be harsh please.

LOL!!! Recently i have started to make sure that at least the person is stable financially, sometimes even if i feel like i love you, once i find out that your financial status is not up to scratch, the love fades, lol, so i dont htink i love people for money, my love for you will be stronger if ugrand ngemali. but if its a bad thing then i should probably pray about it.

I have dated all types of men...lawyers, Surgeons and whatever financial stable man you can think...i have sucked their balls. Guess what = it was a student with no job and no direction that i feel in love with, he had nothing and i loved him...now, the only thing i miss ke lerete la gae...

love is so special dear,the most important thing is to love and be loved in return.. when u r in love u know for sure that u are happy even if it does not pay your debts but it does a lot in your heart. there are so many people out there who are very rich but ther is one thing they dont hav and they end up taking other women's husbands.

i dont care wether u hav money or not, as long as you love me its okay. its so nice to be in love trust me.

I have to say though for some girls being a hoodrat is doing wonders for them getting cars sh*t .....it's working for them.

@HARAMBE24 - trust me when i say i am gettig married to one of the most loaded man in SA, and i know he love me too much ,but there is one person who is also still a student he has nothing and i love him a bits. so money cant by love it can just make it shine.

I realised what makes me happy is money I tried to pretend with my current fling but he does not want to spoil me so for me money is the key. Loved him but the love vanished when he kept on telling me he is broke. From December till March hell no. I thought it was the festive that made him broke but when he told me he does not have money this month I started questioning his capabilities. He even drives my car when he is at my place. Hell no to LOVE without money

Nah, a man has to be financially stable, plain and simple. Not rich, just stable and able to afford life. So ya Belz, I agree with you.
Coz seriously, love is not enough to salvage a relationship, all these other things count just as much. If the guy has no money and the girl has no money, then that's fine. But for a financially independant woman, a man with a stable income is a must(for me anyway).

And what Molilo is saying is true as well, a girl wants to be sopoilt. As for him driving your car! LOL. Hayi, mina I'll let you drive my car if you have a car of your own...!

Well, depending on what car he drives, i'd be willing to swop him now and again. I just have a problem with those girls who have cars but are dropped off at work by their boyfriends, and then they go do whatever it is they do with the girl's car, and then fetch her LATE after work.
