Isidingo's Charlie has been facing the nasty sitch of needing to fight to keep Calvin out of Aphiwe's clutches. She knows that there's an ever-increasing attraction between them and she's been trying to claw him back but the threat of Aphiwe keeps growing.
What should she do? What's the best way to ensure that your beau, husband, significant other doesn't stray?
I posed to the question to Charlie's alter ego Michaella Russell and she has lots to say on the topic. These are her Top 3 tips:
1. If you are stressing that he may be playing the field while leading you on then he is not worth keeping.
2. Honesty. Relationships absolutely need to be built on trust. The dirty laundry will be aired at some point or another and it's simply better to keep it real.
3. It is also very important to make an effort, the day things become too comfortable is the day that romance goes out the door.
So how does she feel about Charlie's attempts to lure Calvin?
Michaella: "I feel that they're valid but truly tragic as I don't believe that she needs to assert herself or her emotions any more. She's proven her worth and dedication to Calvin - in a perfect world he would appreciate her true and unwavering love and choose it over his infatuation with and lust for another woman."
