It was nice when the serial had a middle class family that was living in the Deep like the Matabane family. Sechaba and that girl are dull. I miss the years gone by when Isidingo was Isidingo.

ISIDINGO REVAMP- I was so over the moon when the headwriter announced a new working class family. "Zondile's". I was hoping for new exciting authentic story-lines of working class people. Bringing in a new world of Horizon Deep Township known for its sense of community. The township must represent struggle, striving towards success and hustling towards content life. Making working class heroes who are miners at Sibeko Gold and heroines who are maids. Not just in service of the powerful and wealthy characters only. But you brought in 2 boring working class people who are now celebrities. Their story is dull. I was also hoping for teenage children so that teenage viewers can engage the lives of teenagers in the township. "A youth in Horizon/Holy Ministries under Pastor Gabriel" Now add teenage children in the Zondile family. Maybe Sizwe's nephew and Zukisa's niece. Remove Nina from Papa G's shebeen. Papa G must sell her shebeen to Lerato's mother who buys the shebeen after her husband dies in the mines. A typical kasi gossip woman who's concerned about what goes around her. A fun loving schemer She's always busy fishing for news from the miners in her shebeen. Cast Rhythm City's sis Bee/ Rockville's sis Ribs for the role. Also add Lerato's little sister Nthabi. She's a teenager in High School " A fly problematic high school student. A sugar daddy type of a girl who's a bad influence to the other young girls." HAINES FAMILY. Bradley and Barker are boring alone. Go to the drawing board and build the Haines family to attract white audience. A big dramatic family. Add Bradley's mother Vivian Haines played by Camilla Waldman Generations Anne De Villiers. "Vivian is a super bitch" She comes in town to drop a bombshell. Bradley is actually Barkers son. Vivian is Nina's biggest enemy. She comes in town engaged to Goergie Zamdela. She doesn't love Goergie, she's broke and Goergie is her ticket. Barker wine and Dine Vivian they team up to destroy Goergie. Things goes horribly wrong when Goergie finds out. Vivian has no choice but to kill Geogrie before he changes his will. She's Barker's ally. They frame Nina and later gt all Goergie's assets. Also add Fiona Ramsey (Scandal's Helen Nemestio) as Abigail Haines, Barker's sister in law. Albert Haines ex wife. A no nonsense businesswoman. She loves her family. She has done some deep dark evil deeds to protect them. Albert left his wife and married Vivian who was his PA that time. Also introduce Abigail's kids. Oliver Haines "Corporate lawyer" Donna Haines " a femme fatale" media mogul. She's willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants even if it means hurting others who stand in her way. Her first marriage failed after her husband started an affair with Samantha Sharma. Now Donna is inlove with Rajesh Kumar. NB "Rajesh leaves the mining world to save On Tv. He sell his shares. He joins Donna at On Tv. Donna fights tooth and nail to get Rajesh Kumar. She even resorts to crime while Samantha is busy exposing her to Rajesh but Rajesh will believe Donna instead of Samantha. Suddenly Rajesh Kumar's childhood sweetheart arrives in Horizon Deep unexpectedly to reveal a deep dark secret that will change Rajesh's life forever. Rajesh has a grown up daughter her name is " Samantha Sharma" yes the journalist. How will Donna take the news? (Set builders must build a house for Rajesh, a stunning luxury house. He's a millionaire he can't live n a 2 room flat) Ryan Haines is the youngest son. And Abigail's favourite child. He's another version of Len Cooper. A Witty Casanova. Stefanie Haines- She's a tv presenter at On Tv. Oliver's wife. She's married to Oliver but inlove with her brother in law Ryan Haines. They come in Horizon Deep after they buy On tv shares from Benjamin Le roux. The first thing they do, they investigate Albert's death and find out Bradley is the one who killed Albert. But Barker is one step ahead. He finds a disturbing truth about Oliver's child that will destroy the Haines family. A deep dark secret. What Ryan, Stefanie and Abigail did behind Oliver's back. Later the truth will come out dramatically. Oliver will confront Ryan with a gun. But Ryan will try to defend instead he will end up accidentally shooting Oliver. He will die and try to hide the evidence. The Cctv footage at the Duncan ends up in Barker and Vivian's dirty hands. SIBEKO FAMILY. This family needs a revamp too. A young female film-maker/ journalist comes in town. She looks for a job at OnTv. She later finds out her father is Jefferson Sibeko. This will be a wake up call for Katlego and Lincoln. Remember Jefferson's will? He leaves his assets to his remaining children. The child will fall inlove with Skhumbuzo. They will face unrequited love. Skhumbuzo will leave Nikiwe for her cousin sister. The Sibeko's will definitely hate Skhumbuzo. Skhumbuzo's father comes in town. The family found a right girl for Skhumbuzo a young rural Xhosa girl from Transkei. If Skhumbuzo doesn't marry the girl, they will disown him. Nina's brother comes in town too. A young mining magnate. Khumo Zamdela played by Muvhango's old Ranthumeng/Lungile Mabena "Generations" He buys Rajesh Kumar's shares at Haines International. He teams up with Nina against Barker they defeat Barker and steal Barker's 10 (not all his shares) percent share. Which makes them a majority shareholder. They merge the company with Sibeko Gold to create a big mining empire. Khumo runs the company with Nikiwe. The two fell inlove but Khumo's mother doesn't like Nikiwe. Lincoln is like a father to Khumo. He looks up to Lincoln.

The only reason I still watch isidingo is because I am not enjoying rhythm city at the moment ,I think I will go back this month .isidingo has lost the pot completely

Ontv team - Rajesh, Donna, Skhumbuzo, Calvin, Charlie, Samantha, Ryan, Stefanie and Latoya. It must be a busy vibrant exciting newsroom like the good old days. The whole new revamp synopsis "Beautiful and powerful women, powerful men, bloated egos, ruthless ambition, hidden agendas, open fights, dodgy business deals, boardroom battles, lies and don't even talk about who hates who- all this plays out in the fictional city of South Africa, "Horizon Deep" a world of mining and media. The story follows the middle class of Horizon Deep suburbs, where big companies, fancy cars, suburb houses, fancy restaurants and bars are uppermost in everyone's desperately aspirational mind. Then there's a working class, a world of Horizon Township known for its sense of community and shared struggle. The township represents the struggle, striving towards success and hustling towards content life.
