Take THAT Kass! You chose the wrong side and now you're on the outs. Luckily I hadn't grown too-too attached to LJ's whispering smile so his sudden exit leaves me with a giggle in my step because it means The Brain rules again.
Tony's one of
the worst players we've seen on the show and yet he manages to get things done. His success won't last forever obviously because there's no way anyone would vote for him to win but right now his antics are serving my purposes perfectly.
At Tribal Council I was shocked to see that everyone still thinks he's a construction worker - everyone except Sarah, who will tell every member of the jury about it the moment they get voted off. It's as if he hasn't even considered it!
If he gets to the end, I can imagine he'll be shocked when he doesn't win but at least he won't turn toxic like Russell "The Poison Dwarf" Hantz did when he lost.
What I like about Tony is that he doesn't have the same twisted, mean streak as the Dwarf. He's trying to do what he thinks he needs to do by strategizing but he's plunging himself for the future.
LJ would have been his ally until the very end and took his blindsiding with impressively good humour. He could never have guessed it was going to happen - not after Tony gave him his idol last week - it's like declaring you're blood brothers.
And Kass sits between it all, suffering the karma of her Brain betrayal. It's bizarre because her backstabbing feels very different to Tony's. Is it hypocritical to be anti-Kass and pro-Tony? Nope!
Tony wants to shake things up as part of his deluded strategy but Kass turned on The Brain for no reason other than how it made her look and that annoys me like you can't believe.
I look forward to her snuffing, hopefully next week. It's between her and Trish, unless Woo survives plunging from the tree and discovers how Tony played him. Hopefully
not. I want things exactly as they are until Kass leaves.
Then The Brain can sleep peacefully knowing she's been handled.
