Nasty Custody Battles
Dr. Phil talks to parents who are embroiled in bitter custody battles, leaving their innocent children caught in the crossfire.
Scott is tired of fighting with his ex-wife, Tiffany, over visitation of their two sons. The bickering has gotten so bad that Tiffany claims Scott spit on her during a recent encounter. Can they learn to respect each other for the sake of their kids?
Plus, Angela says her ex-husband, Chris’ violent past and brushes with the law have her so scared that she refuses to let him near their 7-year-old daughter. Despite his past, does this man deserve a second chance to be a father?

Old Flames
Staying in touch with your “old flame” isn’t a problem unless it’s coming between you and your spouse.
Susan says her husband, Fred, has a lot of ex-girlfriends and still flirts with them. Fred says his wife is overreacting and they are just old friends. Is it okay to grab a cup of coffee with an ex, when your spouse isn’t invited?
And, Suzie kept breaking up with her boyfriend when things got too serious- then she’d just take him back. Tired of being rejected, he finally ended the relationship for good. Now Suzie wants her old flame.

Living On The Edge
Lisa used to have it all: a husband, a beautiful home, great job and many friends but her crippling 10-year alcohol addiction has her living a nightmare.
One step away from being homeless, Lisa trades sexual favours for alcohol just so she can get through the day.
Joani, a recovering addict who’s been trying to help Lisa, records Lisa’s debilitating addiction and her disturbing withdrawal symptoms as she tries to go without a drink. Lisa has failed rehab three times and is ready to give up on life. Can Dr. Phil convince her to give it one more try?

Extreme Disorders
Dr. Phil sheds light on a pair of misunderstood extreme neurological disorders.
First he looks at Asperger’s syndrome, a high functional form of autism that can cause a lack of control over a person’s emotions, including anger.
Rich and Karen’s 15-year-old son, Alex was diagnosed with Asperger’s at age 6. his sudden fits of rage and erratic behaviour have put a strain on the whole family. Should his parents be afraid of Alex, or is there something they can do to control his behaviour?
Then, Craig, 37 can’t control his physical tics, nor can he keep from constantly uttering obscenities, literally hundreds of times a day.

They’re newly weds, married only a short time, and already they’re headed for divorce court.
