Bio
Lehasa Moloi is a South African actor, television presenter, model and writer best known for his role as Mavis Mabaso's son Oupa in the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville. Recurring in the first two seasons, he was promoted to starring cast in Season 3.
Lehasa was previously known for hosting the e.tv music and gadget review magazine show Mgongo, in 2012.
Hailing from the Free State, Lehasa is no stranger to the entertainment industry. He has previously appeared in TV commercials, music videos, various soapies (including Rhythm City and Isidingo) and most notably in the movie Spud: The Movie as PJ Luthuli.
Other television series he has acted in include Erfsondes, Soul Buddyz, Muvhango and Wild at Heart.
Lehasa also sings and produces music in his spare time. He lists reading, sports, gym and lots of PlayStation as his hobbies. His music collection ranges from Jay-Z to Johnny Cash, Bob Marley to Bassment Jaxx, The Ramones, TKZee, Usher to name a few and his favourite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Lehasa studied a Bcom Entrepreneurship and is also busy with ongoing acting and writing studies. He can also speak English, Sesotho and Afrikaans as well as a bit of Zulu and Setswana.
