Ntando Mncube is a South African actor, dancer and singer best known for his starring role as Apollo on the SABC1 miniseries Side Dish.

A drama graduate of the Durban University of Technology, he has appeared in numerous theatre productions, including the Themi Venturas productions of Man of La Mancha, Jimbo and Spice 'n Stuff; the Jerry Pooe productions of No Tears, Let My People Go (in which he played Chief Albert Luthuli) and Animal Farm; Steven Stead's productions Peter Pan and Robin Hood; and numerous others.

A character actor in television, Ntando has guest starred in numerous shows, including his television debut on an episode of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions, in 2013.

The following year he had a guest starring role in an episode of the e.tv drama anthology series eKasi: Our Stories, in the episode entitled "Tough at the Top" (Season 1, Episode 28), which aired on Monday 14 Apil, 2014.

In the episode, an over-ambitious aspiring model is sick of being rejected at auditions and decides that the easiest way to the top and is to make headlines by faking her own kidnapping, with the help of her boyfriend.

In late 2014, Ntando guest starred in two drama series: Mzansi Magic's Saints and Sinners and the SABC1 drama Kowethu.

In December 2015 he starred in the M-Net Original Film The Ring, produced by M-Net's 2015 Magic in Motion Academy interns. The film - also starring Kenneth Nkosi, Mac Leshomo, Sana Mchunu, Sive Mabuya and Cedric Fourie - is a comedy set in a hotel, and first aired on 19 December.

In 2016 he guest starred on the Season 3 premiere of the e.tv family drama series Umlilo.

In 2017, Ntando guest starred in the Mzansi Magic prison drama Lockdown as Senzo, the husband of Thembi, played by Kgaogelo Monama. He returned to the role for Season 2, in late 2017.

The following year he guest starred in the SABC2 sitcom Abo Mzala, appearing in Season 3, Episode 14 (which aired on 6 May, 2018).

Later in 2018 he landed his first starring role in television in the SABC1 miniseries Side Dish, about four women who go away on holiday and accidentally murder a Ben 10. The four-episode series premiered on Sunday, 19 August.

Between October 2020 and April 2023 he played Sibusiso Dlamini on the e.tv soapie Durban Gen, fiancé to lead character Mbali, payed by Nelisiwe Sibiya.

From 2022 to 2023 he played the recurring role of Geja in Seasons 1 and 2 of the Showmax telenovela The Wife and he played Prince Ndabezimbi in the Mzansi Magic historical drama Shaka iLembe, also in 2023.

In 2024 he joined SABC1 soapie Uzalo as evangelist Sakhile, who arrived as a beacon of hope for the KwaMashu community.
