Bio
Sagie Moodley is a South African motoring expert, radio and television personality best known for his partnership with Adam Ford on 702 Talk Radio's "A Word On..." with Leigh Bennie, and for co-hosting (with Ford) the SABC3 motoring magazine show Car Quest, since April 2009.
Sagie grew up in the small town of Stanger in KwaZulu-Natal. His first feeling for speed and cars came at a very young age and the need for speed has not diminished yet.
He went to the University of Durban Westville and found that the need for fast cars and faster women was hampering his studies so he decided to quit and become a mechanic.
Much to his parents' disappointment he continued on his crazy search of cars (and women). His search ended when his father told him to start paying his way and become a man. Sagie qualified two years later and moved to Johannesburg.
His brutal honesty or brashness gets him into trouble a lot, but he has found that people like the truth. Getting involved with a radio talk show is something he has enjoyed immensely and as luck would have it he knew Jeremy Mansfield.
He has since been co-hosting the show A Word on Cars on Friday evenings.
