Bio
Tebogo Kgobokoe is a South African Latin American dancer, choreographer, coach and adjudicator who is an undefeated South African Professional 10 dance champion and six times South African Latin American Champion.
From her roots as a young traditional dancer in the North West province (she started dancing at the age of 4), Tebogo became a professional dancer and received her first Latin American qualification at the age of 16.
Aside from her main style of Latin American, Tebogo has also trained in a variety of other dance forms including Contemporary, Modern, Gymnastics, Spanish, Ballet, Freestyle, Rock n Roll and Ballroom.
Professional dancers she has partnered with include Kagiso Ntseane, Louis Esterhuizen, Michael Wentink, Harold van Buuren and Sipho Mlaka.
She believes strongly in awarding opportunities to deserving artists and aims to contribute towards the recognition, respect and support for arts and culture.
Tebogo has choreographed dance routines on numerous big reality television competitions, including SABC2's Strictly Come Dancing, SABC1's So You Think You Can Dance South Africa and kykNET's Dans! Dans! Dans!, all in 2008.
She was one of the three judges of the e.tv reality dance competition Superdance South Africa, which aired on the channel from August to November, 2009.
When SABC3 bought the rights to the sixth season of Stricly Come Dancing in 2013, Tebogo was made one of the three permanent judges. She returned in 2014 and 2015 to judge the seventh and eight seasons of the show.
