Arthur Molepo is a South African actor and sculptor best known for his role as Busang, the black sheep of the family, in the SABC1 soap opera Generations.
He is also known for his role as crooked local government official Sydney Shabalala in the e.tv soapie Rhythm City; and for originating the role of Mingus in the stage musical Sophiatown at the Junction Avenue Theatre Company.
Other television series he ahs acted in include The Lab, Soul City, Sokhulu & Partners, When I Eat Chocolate, I Remember You and the Mzansi Magic original drama series Mshika-shika.
Feature films he has acted in include Mapantsula, Hijack Stories, Orlando and the short films Victor Orange and The Storekeeper.
Molepo has acted in numerous theatre productions including Barney Simon's Starbrites at the Market Theatre in September 1990, Pieter-Dirk Uys's Scorched Earth (1989) and MacBeki (2009), Sisyphus, Nongogo, Dikichining, Marabi, Sauer Street and Sizwe Bansi is Dead.
He is the father of actor Mpho Molepo.
