Mark Furze is an Australian actor best known for his role as Eric "Ric" Dalby on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, playing the role since late 2004.
Furze has starred in several productions by the Orange Theatre Company, including Oliver!, in which he played the lead role at the age of 10.
His first television role was in the children's television program Outriders. At the age of 15 Furze had found himself an agent and landed a role in Water Rats.
He has also appeared in the made-for-TV movies Balmain Boys (2002) and Jessica (2004).
He was a contestant on It Takes Two, a celebrity singing challenge, and was partnered with Rachael Beck. They placed 3rd. He was listed in the annual Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelors list in 2006, but failed to win.
He was also a contestant on the reality show Soapstar Superstar in 2007. He placed third, behind Emmerdale's Hayley Tamaddon and Coronation Street's Antony Cotton.
Apart from acting Furze is also interested in music, being involved in two bands, one a heavy metal band and the other a punk band. He was also seen in the video clip of Guy Sebastian's single 'Elevator Love' in 2006 playing guitar.
