Ali Larter is an American actress and former fashion model best known for her roles in several films aimed at teenage audiences, including Varsity Blues and Final Destination and its sequel Final Destination 2, as well as for starring in the television series Heroes, from 2006-2010.
Larter began her screen career with a string of guest appearances on television shows, beginning in 1997. She appeared on Suddenly Susan, Chicago Sons, Chicago Hope, Just Shoot Me!, and Dawson's Creek in quick succession, before landing her first feature film role in Varsity Blues (1999).
From then on she performed exclusively in movies, including House on Haunted Hill (1999), Final Destination (2000), Legally Blonde (2001), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Final Destination 2 (2003), 3-Way (2004), Confess (2005) and Crazy (2006).
After a seven-year break from television she returned in 2006 to star as Niki Landers (who later became Tracy Strauss) in the superhero drama Heroes.
In 2007 she appeared in three movies: Homo Erectus, Marigold and Resident Evil: Extinction.
