Bio
Pabi Moloi is a South African television presenter, actress and radio DJ best known for hosting the M-Net (and later Mzansi Magic) magazine programme All Access, from 2009-2012.
She hosted the second season of the SABC3 game show Out of the Box in 2006 and the SABC1 game show The Amazing Date, in 2008. She was also a host of the DStv gospel channel One Gospel.
In addition, she played the role of Unathi in the eighth season of the SABC1 drama series Soul City, in 2007.
Born and bred in Johannesburg, Pabi co-hosts YFM's the “Y-d Awake Breakfast Show” with Macfarlane and Thato where she shares her sentiments about radio being a personal and expressive medium and as good as a best friend.
Pabi enjoys popular music but it also depends on what she is doing at that particular moment. “If I really want to get into the mood, I play old school Kwaito, but if I feel like dancing, house beats will come into play. The music close to my heart is classic soul”.
Pabi's definition of success is breaking boundaries, making new rules and being happy and fulfilled. Her most important thing is looking after herself because she believes this will determine what she can give to the people around her.
Pabi was supposed to host the 2010 Miss South Africa pageant after a late cancellation by Nonhle Thema, but withdrew at the last minute herself. She was replaced by Michelle McLean.
In 2013 she was the co-host (with Marc Lottering) of the sixth season of the SABC3 reality competition television series Stricly Come Dancing.
Beginning in July 2016 she was one of the four personalities headlining SABC3's daily talk show Trending SA, in which the panel discuss trending hashtags of the day, sparking conversation with guests who are brought in to delve deeper into issues that are currently active on social media.
