Bio
Greg Grunberg is an American actor best known for his television roles as Sean Blumberg on Felicity (1998-2002), as Eric Weiss on Alias (2001-2006), and as Matt Parkman on Heroes, from 2006-2010.
He also had a starring role in the short-lived sitcom The Jake Effect in 2006.
He starred in the Coen Brothers' film Ladykillers and co-starred in Hollow Man. He has also appeared in Goldmember, The Muse, BASEketball, Senseless, Trigger Effect, Malibu's Most Wanted, At Sachem Farm and With Friends Like These.
Grunberg has had a multiple-episode arc on NYPD Blue and recurring roles on both Melrose Place and Flying Blind.
His other television credits include Diagnosis Murder; Murphy Brown; Stolen: One Husband; Mr. Murder and Monk.
Grunberg created and ran a successful frozen yogurt delivery service, worked for noted film producers Dino de Laurentiis and Joel Silver, and co-wrote a computer animated pilot in which he also provided the voice of the lead character.
Grunberg acted in plays during elementary and junior high school, graduating from University High School in West Los Angeles. He majored in business at San Diego State University and UCLA.
In 2006 he formed Band From TV with Hugh Laurie of House, James Denton of Desperate Housewives, Bob Guiney of The Bachelor and Bonnie Somerville of Kitchen Confidential.
He currently lives outside Los Angeles with his wife and two young sons. He is the younger brother of actor Brad Grunberg.
