Bio
Carlo Rota is a British-born Canadian actor best known for his role as Chloe O'Brian's ex-husband Morris O'Brian in the action drama television series 24, from 2006-2009.
In 2007 Rota was the host of the Canadian cookery show Great Canadian Food Show and landed the lead role of Yasir Hamoudi in the Canadian sitcom Little Mosque on the Prairie, which he played for five seasons.
He has appeared in numerous popular TV series including Queer as Folk (US version), Castle, La Femme Nikita, Relic Hunter, Adventure Inc, A Nero Wolfe Mystery, The Gospel of John, At The Hotel, PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal and Traders.
His television movie credits include Rough Air: Danger on Flight 534, Doc, A Colder Kind of Death, Recipe for Murder and Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story.
Carlo has also appeared in many feature films such as Cake, Horsie's Retreat, Countdown, Global Heresy, On Their Knees, Mission To Mars, Passengers and The Boondock Saints.
After moving from London Rota initially settled in Toronto, Canada and currently lives in Los Angeles, California. He married 24 co-star Nazneen Contractor on 1 April, 2010.
