Bio
Adrian Pasdar is an American actor best known for his roles as Declan Dunn in the sci-fi series Mysterious Ways; as ADA David McClaren in the legal drama series Judging Amy and as Nathan Petrelli in the sci-fi drama series Heroes.
He also had a recurring role as smooth-talking, camera-friendly president Paul Garcetti in the television mini-series Political Animals, in 2012.
He also played the recurring role of Alec Rybak in the teen drama mystery television series The Lying Game, from 2011-2013. Additional television credits include Desperate Housewives, Profit, Feds, Judging Amy, American Playhouse and programs for the BBC.
Feature films include Near Dark, Carlito's Way and Secondhand Lions alongside Robert Duvall and Michael Caine. Pasdar wrote and directed the film Cement starring Jeffrey Wright and the late Christopher Penn, which collected the Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature film at the Houston Worldfest in 2000.
He can also be seen in the indie film Home Movie.
On stage, Pasdar appeared in the musical Atlanta at the Geffen Playhouse, which was co-written by Pasdar and Grammy winner Marcus Hummon, and co-directed by Pasdar and Randall Arney.
Set against the backdrop of the civil war, Atlanta is a love story with music that ranges from contagious toe-tapping tunes to soul-searching solos. This premiere production was the first musical in the Geffen's newly renovated space in Westwood, CA.
Additional theatre credits include New York Theater productions of On the Waterfront and the Obie award winning Aven' U Boys.
