Bio
Doris Msibi is a South African model, businesswoman and television presenter best known for presenting the e.tv reality show Forgive & Forget, since 2008.
She was on maternity leave for the start of the fifth season in 2011 and was temporarily replaced by Kinalma Bashman.
Doris is a former Miss Soweto (2000), Miss Teen Gauteng (1999) and Ms. Globe South Africa (2006) and believes that for a strong and balanced self-esteem it is vital to be well groomed on the outside and centred on the inside.
She owns and manages Capricorn Institute, a beauty studio which offers hair, skin and body beauty treatments as well as coaching programmes such as communications skills, business and social etiquette, make up, image consultancy and career guidance.
In addition, Doris is a beauty ambassador for a well-known hair care product and owns the rights to run the Right Living Programme, a personal power programme derived by Dr. Tracy Kemble, president of the Woman In Need and Ms Globe Foundations in California, USA.
Doris also works as a counsellor and motivational speaker for the youth of Soweto, including Childline, Gauteng.
She has done promotional, modelling and marketing work, in her personal capacity, for brands such as Nike, Ebony Hair, Dark and Lovely, Black Like me, Caivil, True Love and Y Magazines.
She has written for the Jenna Clifford e-newsletter, Parable Magazine and is the resident image expert for Soul magazine. She worked as a Recruitment Consultant before joining the Image industry.
Doris grew up in Pimville, Soweto and was raised by her mother, grandmother and uncles. She has two sisters and attended Grenville High School in Rustenburg.
She is married, with three children.
