Dalen Lance is a South African singer, songwriter and television presenter best known for hosting the kids' magazine show Bling! on SABC2, from 2003-2006.

He was also the host of the first two seasons of the e.tv street dance reality competition Step Up or Step Out, from 2011-2012. He left after two seasons to complete his Masters degree in Business Leadership.

He also presented the M-Net reality television competition High School Musical: Spotlight South Africa, in 2008.

Dalen earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Town, majoring in financial accounting.

In 2002 Dalen reached the Top 50 stage of M-Net's Idols, and the following year made the Top 50 of SABC's Popstars.

As a singer-songwriter he released his debut album, Be Your Man, in 2006. He has also has stage musical experience, taking the lead in Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in 2000.

On TV his presenting credits include Bling! and Pap Idols and he also featured in the films Dollars & White Pipes and Zenon 3. He was nominated as Best Youth Male TV Presenter at the South African Kids Choice Awards in 2005 and 2006.

He was also the face of ABSA's "Kweeka" advertising campaign.

In 2012 he became one of the six original presenters of the kykNET breakfast programme Dagbreek.
