Bio
Thami Prusent (26) is a South African student and entrepreneur from Johannesburg best known as one of the 12 housemates on the third season of the reality television competition Big Brother Africa, in 2008.
Thami is currently studying a degree in economics and learning Mandarin Chinese at the University of South Africa.
An ardent rugby fan and player, he also holds a certificate in Rugby Theory and Practice and attended the South African Institute of Rugby at Rand Afrikaans University before moving on to the University of Pretoria.
Thami says that he’s a fan of the late Richard Pryor and that there will probably never be anyone as entertaining as he was.
Aspiring to become a millionaire this year, the 26-year-old says that if he wins Big Brother Africa, he’ll spend the money on a trip to Asia, South America and visiting African destinations.
Recognizing his bad habits, Thami says that he is opinionated and hardly ever wrong and says his special talent is pretending to listen.
If he could teach the world anything, Thami says it would be tolerance and the willingness to take chances.
A fan of the television series Last Comic Standing and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Thami says that he also enjoys women’s tennis. "It all started with Gabriella Sabatini but the Williams sisters took it to another level!"
