Annie Parisse is an American actress best known for her starring television roles as A.D.A. Alexandra Borgia on Law & Order and as FBI Specialist Debra Parker in the psychological thriller television series The Following.
Parisse has appeared in diverse projects spanning motion pictures, television and theatre, including the Tony Award-winning play Clybourne Park at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
She appeared in the summer blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man and had a recurring role on the procedural drama Person of Interest, playing Detective Cara Stanton.
Earlier in 2012 she starred in Price Check, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and she also appeared in One for the Money, opposite Katherine Heigl.
Best known for playing A.D.A. Alexandra Borgia on Law & Order, Parisse's other TV credits include Unforgettable, as well as cable's Rubicon, The Big C and The Pacific.
Her other film credits include My Own Love Song, Tickling Leo, Definitely, Maybe, Prime, Blackbird, Monster-In-Law, National Treasure and How to Lose A Guy in Ten Days. Parisse has also starred on Broadway in Prelude to a Kiss at the Roundabout Theatre.
She played the title role in Becky Shaw at Second Stage, for which she earned a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. She also received a Drama Desk Award nomination for her work in the Off-Broadway production of The Internationalist.
She resides in New York with her longtime partner and son.
