Katie Aselton is an American film director, producer and actress best known for her starring role as Jenny MacArthur, Kevin's wife who helps him run his team and has as much enthusiasm for the league as the actual members do, in the television comedy series The League.
Katie directed and starred in the survivor thriller Black Rock alongside Lake Bell and Kate Bosworth. The film premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was released in theatres on May 17, 2013.
Katie's breakout acting role was in The Puffy Chair directed by Mark and Jay Duplass and the film was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards. She made her directorial debut in The Freebie in which she also stars. The film premiered to critical acclaim at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and was released theatrically by Phase 4 in 2010.
Audiences also saw Katie in director Jesse Peretz comedy Our Idiot Brother, opposite Paul Rudd. Past credits include Intervention, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2006, Cyrus, which debuted at Sundance in 2012, and Kyle Patrick Alvarez's Easier with Practice.
She is married to her The League co-star Mark Duplass.
