Zuraida Jardine is a South African DJ, actress, television presenter and journalist best known to television viewers as the host of the second season of Big Brother, as well as for winning the first season of the SABC2 reality competition Strictly Come Dancing.
She also played the role of Veneshree on the first season of the SABC1 sitcom City Ses'la, in 2005.
Jardine first made her name as a disc jockey for Good Hope FM in Cape Town, where she hosted numerous shows and read the news for five years, from 1997-2002.
She was lured to Johannesburg by rival station 5FM and the SABC, for whom she worked as a presenter. She also presented various shows for M-Net.
Jardine hosted her own show, Vicious Delicious, on DStv's GO channel from 2003-2005.
In 2010 she was co-presenter of the SABC3 lifestyle magazine series Life's a Journey.
She has been married to director Josh Lindberg (son of South African entertainment legends Des and Dawn) since April 2004.
