Scott Wolf is an American actor best known for his role as Bailey Salinger on the television series Party of Five, from 1994-2000.
He got the role on Party of Five after Jerry O'Connell pulled out to take the lead in Sliders.
He is also known for his role as Dr. Jake Hartman on the third and fourth seasons of Everwood, from 2004-2006, and as Jeremy Kates in the short-lived series The Nine in 2006.
Wolf began his screen acting career as an extra playing four different characters in four episodes of the sitcom Saved By The Bell.
Other television shows he has appeared in include Evening Shade, Saturday Night Live and Spin City.
He had a minor role in his first feature film, All I Want for Christmas (1991), which he followed with a leading role as Clyde in 1993's Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde.
His other film credits are Double Dragon (1994), White Squall (1996), The Evening Star (1996), Go (1999), Welcome to Hollywood (2000), Love Thy Neighbor (2002), and Emmett's Mark (2002).
Director Doug Liman originally did not want to cast him in Go because Katie Holmes was already in the movie, and he did not want the movie to star two TV actors. However, he saw him talking in a hallway with Jay Mohr and realised that the chemistry between the two would be good in the movie.
Wolf has also acted in the made-for-TV movies Jenifer (2001), Rubbing Charlie (2003), Picking Up & Dropping Off (2003) and Kat Plus One (2004). His next TV movie will be Making It Legal, which premieres in 2008.
Wolf was engaged to actress Alyssa Milano in the 1990s, and lived with fellow Party of Five cast member Paula Devicq for a year.
He has been married to former Real World: New Orleans cast member Kelley Limp since 29 May 2004.
