Tyler Labine is a Canadian actor best known for his television roles as Dave Groves in Invasion (2005-2006) and as Bert 'Sock' Wysocki in Reaper, from 2007-2009.

He also had starring roles in the short-lived comedy series Sons of Tucson (2010) and Mad Love, in 2011.

Labine was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. In his early childhood, his family moved to Vancouver, British Columbia which is where he began his acting career in a local theatre production.

Labine was featured in small roles on various television series and TV films before landing one of the lead roles in the TV series Breaker High in 1997.

From there, he went on to work in feature films such as Antitrust (2001) with Tim Robbins, Robert Altman's Trixie (2000) and Marine Life (2000) with Cybill Shepherd.

Labine also performed opposite musician David Bowie in the film Mr. Rice's Secret (2000).

In 2001 he was cast in the lead role of Scotty Sallback in the TV series Dead Last and also starred in the 2002 series That Was Then.

Further film credits include a role in the World War I fighter pilot feature Flyboys (2006); portraying John Belushi in the television film Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Mork & Mindy (2005); and a role in The Zero Sum (2005) with Ewen Bremner.

He guest starred in an episode of Saved in 2006, which he followed with a five-episode recurring role as A.D.A. Jonathan Winant in the third season of the dramedy Boston Legal, also in 2006.

During his downtime, the Los Angeles-based actor joins his brother and his best friend in the hip-hop band Figures of Speech. Labine is a talented turntablist and MC.

Also an avid snowboarder, Labine enjoys the resorts of Whistler/Blackcomb and likes to spend time at his family cottage in Ontario.
