From: Cape Town
Born and bred in Cape Town, Michelle lives with her parents in Pinelands where she has lived all her life.
Michelle has just graduated from Ruth Prowse where she specialised in photography and she’s hoping to break into the professional photography industry.
She received an award as one of 40 top creatives of the Design Indaba and currently freelances by doing promotions, assistant jobs and photographic shoots.
Michelle says she entered The Cut at the very last minute, “I entered on the demand of my lecturer who forgot to tell me that it was a casting for a reality show, I thought it was a photography competition.”
And what is she hoping to get out of the show? “I hope to get acknowledgment out of this show. The art industry is a really difficult industry to crack into so you really need every bit of exposure you can get and of course I am hoping for a rocking time!”
