The show debuted on 4 February 1994 and made television history as the first soapie to be produced, written and directed by black South Africans.
The premiere episode will be rescreened exactly as it was 15 years ago - complete with (a younger!) Sis Ribs heading the line-up. It opens with her singing at the funeral of Mama Moroka.

The screening will be followed up later in the month by a special that looks back across the show. On Thursday, 26 February at 20h30 Connie Ferguson will host a 1-hour trip through history that covers the lives and roles of the people who have been part of the show since it's start.
The special features interviews with creator Mfundi Vundla, the cast and crew (past and present) and includes behind-the-scenes inserts and clips from past episodes.
We'll give you a headsup reminder about this on the day in TVSA's "Today's Premieres."
