When digging for dirt in dangerous places it's amazing what you find...

A source close to TVSA has sent us a list of casting spoilers for Binnelanders, Isidingo and Scandal!, as well as some hotter-than-hot gossip about Michelle Botes.

There's a rumour (which our source can't confirm or deny) that Michelle will be returning to Isidingo once her contract ends on Binnelanders in April!

A whole new host of actors are joining Binnelanders when it becomes an hour-long show in April and it could be that Botes will be written out - paving the way for a return to Isidingo.

We can't get anyone to confirm the rumour, but if it's true - you read it here first. The show hasn't been the same without the devious Cherel - it would be just the tonic it requires.

Although we don't know what roles any of the following actors will be playing, we do know that they are either confirmed or pencilled in:

Binnelanders

Jana CilliersJana Cilliers

Predominantly a theatre actress, but played Beth in Egoli and appeared in the M-Net mini-series Feast of the Uninvited, in 2008.

She was married to Bill Flynn and her daughter is actress Lika van den Bergh (Known Gods, Shooting Stars).

Antony ColemanAntony Coleman

Has acted in numerous shows and films including Snitch, The Lab, Zero Tolerance, Madam & Eve, Scoop Schoombie, Gums & Noses and Blood Diamond.

Michelle PienaarMichelle Pienaar

Best known for playing Audrey in Egoli, a role she won in the Egoli Star Competition in 2001. With Egoli ending next month, this seems like a logical move for Michelle.

Maggie BenedictMaggie Benedict

Best known for her role as Noxee on Hard Copy 3, Maggie has her work cut out for her if she's joining Binnelanders - she's also one of the leads in the new SABC2 drama series The Mating Game, which premieres on 4 March.

Christl WeinbeckChristl Weinbeck

Although Christl has acted in numerous theatre productions, this appears to be her first television casting. She has a National Diploma in Dramatic Arts from the Pretoria Technikon.

Isidingo

Kate NormingtonKate Normington

Best known in television for her role as Lizzie in SABC3's dramedy On the Couch. Most recently made an appearance as Shirley in the second season of the SABC1 drama series Society 2.

Michelle BotesMichelle Botes

Currently plays Ingrid Jordaan on Binnelanders, ever since she left Isidingo in 2007. Her contract on Binnelanders expires in April.

Scandal!

Louise BarnesLouise Barnes

This casting has been confirmed by e.tv - Louise will play heartless Donna Hardy, the newly-appointed Acting CEO of NZH, who will amuse herself playing puppets in her upcoming personal and professional power games.

She has sweeping plans to revamp, re-brand, and reposition the once prestigious publishing company that is now in crisis – but her put-into-immediate-effect recovery strategies will cause major upheaval and distress for all - and Donna will lap that up with relish.

Louise debuts on Scandal! this Thursday (25 February).

Louise is best known for her role as Jocelyn Del Rossi on the medical drama series Jozi-H. She also acted in Egoli and Suburban Bliss, among other shows.

A Million Colours

Further casting news is that TV stars Wandile Molebatsi (Samuel in Rhythm City) and Masello Motana (Home Affairs, Artcha) have both been cast in the new film A Million Colours, described as "a romantic adventure of South Africa's once most famous black movie star who was separated from the love of his life, became a fugitive and struggled to survive Apartheid".

Based on a true story, the production will be filmed in Johannesburg, produced by Andre Pieterse and directed by Peter Bishai.

It's all about ratings for Scandal!

Or maybe we have judged Khanyi too much... Let's give her a chance! Eish mara le yena. In future when she snatches a man, she must be discreet. A je a iphumula molomo!
