The gala performance that resulted in the Top 10.
On Saturday night (30 October) the Top 15 Popstar wannabe's faced their final battle in their quest to land a spot in the winning group.
As the episode unfolded, five found themselves eliminated: Anele Gazide, Kahludi Malele, Lebogang Katane, Lefa Pike and Nomandla Mfecane.

Some took the news with a sense of zen, particularly Lefa - who was probably relieved to be returning to spliff'dom. It was more difficult for others though and was roughest for Anele and Nomandla who got so close yet so far, making it through to the Top 12.
The 12 were divided into three groups and had to go through a final audition at a gala performance. They gave their groups names and performed different arrangements of the Gerry Rafferty track Baker Street. Once they'd delivered, the judges made their final call and announced the Top 10.
In between it all, everyone got top-to-toe makeovers in preparation for the upcoming stardom that awaits them if they win. How they've morphed:

pop factsWord from the show is that these were the tip of the iceberg. Once the group is created, they're going to go through a monster makeover, so that they suit each other and whatever the style of the group is.
There isn't a specific size that the group has to be. It could be any size. There's no ways it will be all 10 though obviously. Our guess is four or five.
This Saturday .... it's time for
da Big Reveal. The judges will be visiting everyone at their homes to tell them whether or not they've made it.
