SuperSport has announced a talent search for a glam new rugby presenter to join their presenting team.
*goodbye boring, sloppy dudes on the couch. hello hott chick!*
What are they looking for? ... a sharp, sassy, camera-friendly female presenter who's passionate about rugby and understands the nuances of the game i.e. you need to know the difference between a tighthead, a rolling maul and muscles.
The search starts at the Varsity Shield Final at the beginning of April, wraps in Durban on 30 April and will be judged by a panel of SuperSport rugby presenters.
Once the open castings are complete, 12 finalists will be chosen who'll then be part of a reality-type show to find the final presenter.
The 12 will be introduced to viewers and the number of finalists will reduced each week until a winner is chosen.
The winner will then undergo training and join SuperSport's Rugby World Cup team in New Zealand in September.
Audition must-knowsYou need to audition in English and need to be 18-years old or older. You can arrive on the day and register i.e. you don't need to register beforehand.
Take your ID book along.
At the auditions: you'll need to present a 30-second clip for the judges. You'll also have to do an off-the-cuff 20-second soundbite.
All auditions will be recorded for the selection process.
The 12 finalists will be announced after all of the auditions are complete.
The Lady Rugga weekly shows featuring the 12 finalists will be broadcast on SuperSport in April and May.
