A Mexican telenovela that premiered in South America in 2009. The series has been dubbed for English audiences.
It centres round two main characters: Morena Madrigal (Paola Núñez) and Leo Hernández (Víctor González).
The scenario:
Morena is a young designer. She studied in New York and like to take advantage of all conveniences she has. But she is unhappy in love. She always loves the wrong man. She marries Oscar but soon she finds that he betrays her - it hurts her so much that she decides to travel to an isolated place to stay alone and recover.
Leo is a young man in his late 20's. He was raised in a tropical jungle by someone who took him under his wing - he doesn't know that he hasn't been raised by his biological father.
Leo can read and write, but he rejects any further education. His ignorance makes him hesitant to fall in love and have a family.
Morena arrives in Selva Lacandona and gets to know to Leo but they do not benefit from that acquaintance. They are too different. She goes to Mexico looking for her grandfather and gets a job offer from Sirenio.
In the meantime Leo discovers that the person who raised isn'this blood father and that his father is Sirenio. He also travels to Mexico to find out the truth about his family and meets Morena again at Sireno’s place. She has to teach him how to behave in the city to suit the family policy, and as she does, their relationship develops.
