Three of the most popular faces in Days of our Lives - Arianne Zucker, Drake Hogestyn and Galen Gering - will be in South Africa this month to meet their fans.
Days of our Lives is one of the longest running television shows in the world having been on air since 1965 and has a mass following on SABC3 where it is broadcast on weekdays at 5.30pm.
In the popular soapie, Zucker portrays unlucky-in-love gold-digger Nicole Walker; Hogestyn is one of the show’s most popular actors thanks to his role as John Black while Gering plays Rafe Hernandez, the handsome FBI agent.
Fans will have the chance to meet their idols up close and personal at:
• Sandton City in Johannesburg at 12:00 on Wednesday, October 31
• Canal Walk in Cape Town at 11:00 on Friday, November 2

GALEN GERINGGalen Gering plays Rafe Hernandez, a handsome FBI agent assigned to guard feisty Sami Brady while she is in the witness protection programme.
A native of Los Angeles, Gering graduated with honours from the University of Miami in 1999.
While pursuing his education in film and creative writing, he began modelling and has appeared in over 50 national commercials. Gering was featured in two independent films, Road Trip and Pistol Whipped and was named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People (2000).
In 2004, Gering co-founded ReelAccess.com, an on-line website containing an extensive database of talent demo reels and additional content.
Gering is also a writer and filmmaker and used to play Pro-Am beach volleyball. He lives with his wife, actress Jenna Gering and sons Dillon and Jensen in Los Angeles.
DRAKE HOGESTYNDrake Hogestyn plays John Black in Days of our Lives.
Drake attended college on a baseball scholarship. He played third base for one of the New York Yankees minor league farm teams. He stopped playing because he was injured.
He majored in pre-dentistry, which was his first career goal before he began acting. He began acting by entering in a talent search. He was discovered by Columbia Pictures at this national talent search where he was one of 30 people chosen out of 75 000.
He won hottest male star in Soap Opera Digest. Drake surfs, snowboards, works on his old '61 Corvette and '57 T-Bird and generally spends all his free time with his wife Victoria and their four children at their beach home in Malibu.
ARIANNE ZUCKERArianne Zucker portrays unlucky-in-love gold-digger Nicole Walker, a former model trapped in a bad marriage to Victor Kiriakas (John Aniston). Zucker, born in Northridge, California, and raised in Chatsworth, began her career as a model at age 16, providing her several opportunities for travel.
Although Days of our Lives is her first daytime role, Arianne is no stranger to television, having appeared in several national commercials as well as a number of stage productions. Arianne continues to study theatre at the Howard Fine Studios in Los Angeles.
Arianne's other passions include horseback riding, in which she competes regularly, skiing and Tae Kwon Do (she has her green belt). A lover of all sports, Arianne has recently developed an interest in golf. Arianne lives in the Hollywood Hills with her husband and daughter.
