So! ... as soon as Big Brother South Africa ends, things swing into action for Big Brother Angola.
It's the reason Big Brother South Africa only runs for two months instead of the usual three.
Auditions for the season are underway as we speak. They started this past Saturday (22 March) and end tomorrow, Friday (27th).
The season starts in May and will run for two months too - just the purrfect timing for Big Brother Africa to arrive in August.
That's all the good news. The bad news for those us who speak South African is that the entire series is going to be in Portuguese. The housemates will all speak it and so will everyone else, the presenters etc.
It'll be airing in South Africa, also on channels 197 and 198, but only for subscribers who have the Portuguese bouquet. At first I was iffy about it because I really want to see what it's like but then, after thinking about it, I suppose it's pointless because it won't be possible to follow it properly.
Still, even though it's happening in a Tower of Babel, it'll be good to know that it's happening and that another pack of housemates are suffering for their million.
It premieres on Sunday, 25 May.
