The results of the first weekly TVSA Poll are in and the response to the question "Which channel produces the best news bulletin?" was overwhelmingly in favour of e.tv.
Of the 275 votes that were cast by TVSA readers, 150 were in favour of e.tv, representing 55% of the votes. The SABC3 news was a distant second place, with 23% (64 votes).
SABC1 was third with 12% (32 votes) and SABC2 was voted the channel with the worst news bulletins of all, with 11% (29 votes).
This was the first in a new series of TVSA Polls, which anybody can take part in (even non-registered TVSA readers can vote). The polls will feature a new question each week on a wide range of television-related topics.
The question this week is as follows: "Which channel has the most appealing branding?"
By "branding" we mean the look and feel of the channel, from theme music to logos to catch phrases and marketing.
You'll find the new poll on the right hand side of any page on the site - please vote on this issue to give us (and the channels) an idea of what the viewers think. You can only vote once per poll - any further attempts are disregarded.
Feel free to suggest future polls if you have any pressing questions you'd like fellow TVSA readers to answer.
