A DAUGHTER''S DEDICATION TO A LATE FATHER
even though i was only young
i can still remember
how we always waited
for u to come home from work

even though i was only young
i can still remember
how we used to imitate you karate moves

even though i was only young
i can still remember
how you always had visitors at our home

even though i was only young
i can still remember
the train journeys we took
to visit our grandparents

even though i was only young
i can still remember how
you enjoyed singing at church

even though i was only young
i can still remember
the unconditional love that filled our home

even though i was only young
i can still remember
how i never understood
why you were suddenly gone
why you never returned home from work
 though we waited

now i am older
but i still wish you were never taken away from us
so soon

and though i now understand that you will never
come home again
sometimes i still wish u would

and though you have been gone for years now
i still feel your love in our lives
and i am still missing you so much

thanks guys.  i had a great dad but God had other plans with him but knowing he loved his family keeps me motivated and wanting to do more for myself,my mother and siblings.the greatest gift a parent can give his children is loving them unconditionally.i was only 5 but i knew i was loved.
